Your stay at Nordgården includes a private holiday apartment in the countryside.

The apartments are designed for families and small groups, with space to relax and live comfortably throughout your stay.

Shared moments – if you wish

During the week, there are opportunities to meet other guests and take part in the life around the farm.

You will be welcomed with coffee and cake on arrival, find yourself joining a gentle walk around the farm during the animal rounds, where guests move together from one place to another as the animals are fed and cared for.

At times, the garden becomes a natural meeting point. A fire is lit, and simple things are prepared together – such as pancakes baked over the open flames – while children play nearby, moving between the sandbox, the trampoline, and small games that arise on their own.

There may also be shared dinners or a barbecue evening in summer, where those who wish can sit together and enjoy a meal.

These moments are informal and optional.
Some choose to join, others prefer the quiet of their own space – both are part of the experience.

Close to nature, fjord and open landscapes

Nordgården is located on the edge of the small village of Skuldelev, in the Danish countryside close to Roskilde Fjord and surrounded by open landscapes.

The area is ideal for walking, cycling and exploring nature at a gentle pace.
Just 2.5 km from the farm, a small bathing jetty by the fjord invites quiet moments by the water, whether for a swim or simply to take in the view.

At the same time, Nordgården is well connected. The historic city of Roskilde is only about 30 minutes away by car, and Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, can be reached in around an hour. A local train connection, just 10 km from the farm, makes it easy to explore further while still returning to the calm of the countryside.

For many visitors, this balance between accessibility and tranquillity is what makes the experience feel uniquely Danish.
