A stone's throw from the fjord path in the beautiful Hornsherred lies Nordgården, as the last farm on the way out of the village of Skuldelev - with a view of fields, hedgerows and Skuldelev ridge.

We offer accommodation in our holiday apartments either as:

Family getaway with a welcome arrangement with a tour of the farm and coffee/tea and cake when you arrive. min 2 nights.

Vacation in Holiday apartment with no activities at the farm- you decide you program

The farm stay with activities is offered from 1. of May to the end of August, as well as the Danish schools' other holidays and special themed weekends. min. 2 nights

In parts of the old cow shed under the hay loft, we have established a trap room/party room.

The premises can be rented with or without accommodation outside the farm holiday season for events of various kinds.

Farm to table

Nordgården is a small business. Part of the land is farmed in the form of farm-to-table production for ourselves and guests on the farm. Production includes eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden, and occasionally home-produced juice and jam.

Animals on the farm

At Nordgården you will find a number of different farm animals that are part of our farm holiday offer with activity. Horses, sheep, pigs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs.

Who lives and runs the holiday home?

We are a family of 6 who live at Nordgården. Jacob, Sarah and our children Silas, Ronja, Runa and Alfred. We have lived on the farm since 2010 and started with farm holidays in the summer of 2019.

Originally, we Sarah and Jacob are both educated farmers, but subsequently chose to go down different paths. Jacob now runs his own carpentry business, and Sarah has worked as a school teacher for a number of years, but is now part-time in the office as well as responsible for our accommodation and farm holiday offer, events on the farm as well as meeting and party room hire.
