Surrounded by Roskilde Fjord and Isefjorden, situated in a beautiful and varied landscape shaped by the Ice Age, here you can explore the beautiful nature, visit castles, museums, cafes, inns, farm shops, or whatever piques your interest. Hornsherred is a picturesque peninsula with plenty of small roads, bike paths, and miles of fjord trails. Therefore, it's easy to tailor the perfect cycling holiday for you.

Stay at Nordgården and plan your trips from the farm, whether you prefer covering many kilometers on your bike or enjoying small experiential trips in the countryside. We are happy to assist with planning bike tours for groups of cyclists and families who want an active cycling holiday.

Nordgården offers large spacious holiday apartments with good beds, so you can sleep well after the day's adventures in a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Additionally, they have their own kitchen, bathroom/toilet, and access to the courtyard with a grill and garden furniture.

From summer 2024, we offer:

Locked garage where your bikes can be safely stored.

Option for washing and preparing the bike for the next day.

Charging facilities for electric bikes are also available on the farm.

Option to add breakfast.

400m from the farm, there is a large supermarket with a good selection and bakery.

We are located 10 km from Frederikssund station - if you wish to arrive by public transport to the farm, it's a beautiful journey from Frederikssund to Skuldelev along the Fjord Trail.

If you arrive by car, there is free parking available during your stay at Nordgården. And if you plan to take a longer trip, your car can stay here until you return.
